In fact, they use organic materials such as organic cotton and natural rubber,

and the production system is really interesting as It was born more than 100 years old,

which requires a specific type of machinery - as you can see in the picture above -

known as: “Vulcanization System” ( click here to watch ) 

 

 

The choose an eco-circular process, in fact, the fabric scraps are sent to a plant

that recycles them to be reused for the shoe production.

In this way they save a significant amount of water, reduce CO2 emissions and avoid

further environmental impacts resulting from the cotton cultivations.

Moreover, the rubber in excess is pulverized and reintegrated into the new soles,

which are made up of 30% recycled rubber!!

 

 

SLOWWALK is also committed to sustainability 

and they want to create a better eco-friendly and conscious production system.

They have created a line of vegan footwear, completely animal-free,

whose models are designed only with renewable and natural raw materials.

 

 

The soles are developed with the best technologies, and their comfort and practicality are awesome features.

These ultralight sneakers are made with organic cellulose from cotton crops (PFEC)

and corn shoes made with bio-leather obtained from the inedible part of the cobs!!!
